An hour late, the lead computer playing rapper hip hopper finally appeared. How long does it take to push the button on a computer and start the show? Then he "played" for an hour. No excuse! Two "songs" would have been too many.
The headliner comes on at 10:54 PM on a work night, and MARTA even closes down before the "promoter" projected the concert would end. Remember, this concert was originally scheduled on FRIDAY, September 2 where MARTA runs later, and people could sleep in.
Remember the press release at the time of rescheduling said ""The show has to be perfect," pop star says. "Assembling all the elements will require more time than we realized." Well, that delay sure paid off! The latest time for a start of a concert I have ever seen (The Rolling Stones held the previous record for a weeknight concert in November 1994 at the Dome. Congratulations headliner on setting a new dubious record!) Where is their class? (oh, I guess there is none), the professionalism (none here either). When the headliner (what was her name? She was so late I forgot who I came to see?). When the headliner finally showed up, the show seemed to be a good one. No rating can be given since we only got to see 6 sings before it was 11:30, and our ride had to leave so she could get to her emergency room job. (I think I heard that is where some sleep-deprived doctors showed up the next morning. I hope the patients did not suffer). Completely uncalled for, headliner. At 57, I expect you were up past your bedtime. Next time, start on time.

Dia Frampton, the opening act, was a disappointment to me - so what's up with the fancy dresses and no shoes?? Her music was ok beyond her personal look - but I won't be buying. No shoes is cute but would be better suited for jeans or a peasant style dress. I just couldn't get past her look enough to enjoy her music.
Justin Moore, on the other hand, was great and I will be buying his music.

"I had thoroughly enjoyed the concert. So much so I walked away saying I will see them in Reno or Vegas. I spent a lot of money on gas, accommodations and tickets for a show that was less than an hour. This concert was definitely cut too short. They were on stage for all of 50 minutes, if that. My friends and I decided to go to Reno. They sung some songs with bass guitars that I did not recognize. I had never seen Mannheim Steamroller in concert until the SAP arena last August. I would love an opportunity to see them again to provide a better review."

"Mannheim Steamroller is a performer that delivers consistently. His voice is truly AMAZING. His down-to-earth persona shines through in his great songs. One thing that slightly disappointed me was the sound system... I felt certain parts had his voice overpowered. The sound could've been mixed better to avoid his voice feeling distant and overwhelmed at times. I am not a fan of music being excessively LOUD. There's a distinction between good loud and bad loud. I rate Mannheim Steamroller's performance 10/10. Sound - 6/10.... it simply didn't showcase his voice effectively."
